c21 go into development week at the Lyric with writer of Appendage

c21 go into Development with the Writer of Appendage. Derek Murphy will be heading over to Belfast to work with c21 for a week at the end of the October on the script that saw a first airing at the Pick N Mix Festival 2011.
A dark comedy in which Jack’s girlfriend, Jill, before she dies from cancer asks Jack to kill Peter, her husband.
In what first appears to be a minor accident in which Jack is struck by Peter’s car turns far more serious as Peter comes to learn that accidents don’t just happen, Jack makes them happen.
Peter has innocently taken Jack into his home to rest his injured leg.  Throughout the course of the day and several bottles of scotch Peter learns his recently deceased wife was not quite as devoted as he thought, and that her last wish may well have been for her lover to become her grieving husband’s killer.  
Neither Jack nor Peter were skilled lovers, a shameful fact that may now just save a life.
